Morning session: Meet at 10.30 Haig Pit Museum car park NX 966176. This part is to learn about the progress of the West Cumbria Mining Ltd. project to mine coking coal from submarine seams.

Afternoon session: THE HIDDEN WONDERS OF IRON SLAG Leader Clive Boulter Meet at 1pm at Harrington Shore. Parking on N side of harbour by Harrington Sailing Club NX 989254. Weatherproof clothing and hard hats useful. Attached are briefing notes for the session.
